I just want to say thanks for all your help with Chunky Jam. They were both fantastic and I have received nothing but positive feedback about them.

Chunky Jam were amazing! They were really flexible with all our timing issues (Ran a bit late) and all the song requests. They even accommodated one of our more infamous delegates when we all asked them to get him to ‘sing’ Highway To Hell, which was a big hit.

Please pass my thanks and praise onto Chris and the band. Thanks again. I will be sure to be in touch next time we’re in Melbourne for an event like this.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Graeme and his King Cactus team.

As usual their performance was perfect, they had lots of humour and really worked the crowd.

Its a very long night when you have to sit for hours while trophies are being presented and it’s always a worry that people start to lose their energy on the way but the band really worked them well.

We had a Christmas party the next day and the majority of people came up to commend the music.

Well done guys.

I would also like to apologise for not hanging around to thank the band. Unfortunately because it was my first “outing” since having major surgery, I ran out of steam and needed to go home early.

We won’t be attending the Albert by the Lake next year due to the fact that another club member is all excited about discovering another venue which he feels might be better and wants to have a go at running a Presentation night.

However we do have functions at other times of the year so I will put in a good word for you.

I will send a formal thank you note in the next few weeks but just wanted to let you know that Andrew and I were blown away by The Essentials. They were absolutely fantastic. They created the exact atmosphere we were after and had everyone up dancing from very early in the night. The set and song selection was excellent and they looked great. We had a BBQ the next day and so many people commented on how great the band was.

Andrew was suffering from Meningitis and had been hospitalised all week so unfortunately he didn’t make it through most of the reception but The Essentials made the night a great party and I really do extend a massive thank you to them for making the night a huge success despite the “no groom” circumstances!

Just a short note to thank you for the band “The Essentials” who played at Comme on Saturday night. They were fabulous and really “appropriate” for the crowd we had – you read us well!! They were very professional and sounded much better and bigger live, than over the internet.

The night flew and I never took the opportunity to really provide the band with my heartfelt thanks for their significant contribution to what was a really memorable night. Could you please pass on my thanks, as I was a little self absorbed on the night!
