Gavin Libotte and Simon Phillips have been playing together for 2 years, and have developed a playful style, with intricate interplay, original melodies and flashes of virtuosity. It’s hard to pick a single track for airplay. The whole album is a satisfying journey, with influences from a world of jazz, flamenco, groove, and Latin rhythms. The delicate percussion forms an integral part of the sound, allowing the guitars more space to create beauty. The production is superb, with attention to the tone and warmth of the guitar. Sauvage is seriously impressive!

We are away on our honeymoon and were defiantly going to give you feed back on Clear View,as you told me they were fantastic,they were a large part of the reason we had the best night that was everything we wanted,it was a huge party,the guests all were amazed at how amazing they were,The Pier Hotel staff said they had never seen a wedding where the dance floor was partying the whole night and how great the band was! We couldn’t tell the difference between them stopping singing and putting between set music on as they had the music chosen so well for the crowd!

I wanted to send you a note to rave about Acoustic Shoes. The boys played at our wedding on the 8th of November in Terrigal and they were absolutely brilliant! They were so professional and even allowed our family members (fellow muso’s) my cousin, sister and Uncle sing which meant so much to all of us. Everyone had a ball and was raved about how brilliant the boys are. I was so pleased to have found them and highly recommend them; in fact a friend of mine at the wedding was so impressed I believe she will be in contact to use them for an upcoming party.

I must mention that a week before my husbands’ 50th I rang and spoke to Richard with a few reservations as I previously had a bad experience years ago with booking a band thru another agent.

I had no reason to worry as the Duo “First Class” were absolutely amazing, they turned our function into a memorable night. We constantly had people complimenting the entertainment that night. A great time was had by all.
